The Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is an independent, internationally renowned medical research facility, with a history spanning more than 93 years. Cybec Foundation has been a supporter of their work since 2004.
International Committee of the Red Cross
The International Committee of the Red Cross operates worldwide, helping people affected by conflict and armed violence and promoting the laws that protect victims of war. in 2002, Cybec Foundation paid for the refurbishment of approximately 200 latrines in Afghanistan.
The Sally Riordan
In 1999, Roger and Sally Riordan paid for the fit-out of an air ambulance for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The RFDS provides emergency aeromedical evacuations throughout rural and remote Australia for people who are seriously ill or injured and require urgent medical attention.
Indigenous Eye Health
Cybec Foundation has provided ongoing support and encouragement to Indigenous Eye Health Australia in its work to ‘close the gap’ for indigenous eye health.
Royal Melbourne Hospital
In 2000, Cybec Foundation became interested in research work being conducted by the Urology Department under the leadership of Professor Anthony Costello at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and has since supported a number of research projects.
